Van and crew
One hourly price covers the van, fuel and the crew. The driver counts as one of the movers. You book whole hours; if the job runs over, extra time is charged in 30-minute steps at the same rate.

Stairs
£10 per person on the crew, per flight of stairs, for each hour spent at that address. A floor is 2 flights. The ground floor is free, and a working lift that fits the furniture removes the charge.

Arranged through a partner storage facility near you. Moving into and out of storage is priced from the van and crew rates.
What changes it
Five things set the figure: the van, the crew, the hours, the miles and the stairs. Parking and packing decide how long the hours run.
Five vehicles from a Small Transit to a 7.5 tonne lorry. Bigger vans cost more per hour and per mile.
Driver only up to a 4-person crew. More hands cost more an hour but finish sooner.
2-hour minimum on vans, 3 hours on the Luton and lorries, then 30-minute steps. Nothing is rounded up to a full hour.
A small-van job that runs 2 h 20 min is billed as 2 h 30 min: the 2-hour minimum (dark) plus one 30-minute step (lime). With small transit, driver only, that is £110 + £27.50.Charged one way, from the collection address to the delivery address, at the vehicle’s per-mile rate.

A long walk from van to door adds time. Tell us if you need a suspension.
Unfinished packing and furniture to dismantle are the usual causes of overruns.

Payment
No deposit and nothing to pay before the move. We do not take cash. You pay once the job is finished and we have both confirmed it is complete.

Yes. Small Transit and Transit LWB bookings start at two hours; the Luton and the lorries start at three. That covers the van, the crew and the travel either side. You book whole hours. If the job runs over, extra time is charged in 30-minute steps, not rounded up to a full hour.
Yes, on request. Fixed suits completion days, tight chains and jobs where a building gives you a set loading window. The figure is agreed before the day and holds as long as the load matches what you described.
No. The same rates apply seven days a week, 8am to 10pm, bank holidays included. No ULEZ charge either.
One way, from the collection address to the delivery address, at the vehicle’s per-mile rate: £1.20 a mile for a Small Transit, £1.40 for a Transit LWB, £1.80 for a Luton, £2.00 for a 5.5 tonne lorry and £2.40 for a 7.5 tonne lorry.
Yes, above the ground floor. It is £10 per person on the crew, per flight of stairs, for each hour at that address. A floor is two flights. A working lift that fits the furniture removes the charge.
Packing that isn't finished, furniture that still needs dismantling, no parking near the door, and a lift that hasn't been booked. Sort those four and most jobs finish on time.
Yes. Cancel or move your booking up to 24 hours before the start time at no charge. Inside 24 hours we may charge up to 50% of the quoted price, because the crew and van are already committed. If the crew is on site and the job cannot go ahead, the minimum booking for that van applies. The full wording is in our terms and conditions.
By bank transfer only. We do not take cash. You pay after the job is finished and we have both confirmed it is complete.
No. We do not ask for a deposit or any payment before the job. The agreed price is paid by bank transfer afterwards.
