Quick answer
How does IKEA delivery work with Giga Removals?
You buy the furniture. We collect it from the IKEA store or collection point, bring it to your home and carry it into the room you choose.
More about this service
Want it built? Our crew can assemble it on the same visit. Assembly is priced per item, from £40 for standard furniture.
Transport is charged at our hourly van rates. A Small Transit with a driver is £55 an hour, with a 2-hour minimum. For heavy boxes or stairs, book a 2-person crew.
Giga Removals works across London and the UK from a London base. We also offer packing, man and van and other services.

Where we operate
IKEA Delivery across London
We collect from IKEA stores and collection points around London and deliver to homes across the city, including Ilford, Stratford, Hackney, Croydon, Islington and West London. We deliver further afield in the UK too. See the areas we cover.
Check large boxes will fit through your doors and up the stairs. We'll tell you if anything looks tight.
Stairs cost £10 per person on the crew, per flight, for each hour at the address. A floor is two flights, the ground floor is free, and a working lift removes the charge.
Planning tip
Wait until IKEA confirms your order is ready to collect, then book your slot.
IKEA collection
Can someone else collect my IKEA order? We can.
If you ordered click and collect but have no van, we collect the IKEA order for you and bring it home. You place and pay for the order with IKEA as normal; we pick it up from the store or collection point, load it safely and carry it into the room you choose.
IKEA collection and delivery service
Send us the store or collection point, your order number, the collection slot and your postcode. Check your IKEA order confirmation for what the person collecting needs to show, and forward it to us. We can also build the flat-pack once it arrives, priced separately from the transport.
London IKEA stores and collection points
We collect from IKEA stores and collection points in and around London, such as Wembley, Croydon, Greenwich, Tottenham and Lakeside. If your order is waiting at a collection point, for example in Stratford, send us the address and we will plan the pickup around your slot.
A small van with a driver is £55 an hour (2-hour minimum, £110). For heavy wardrobes or many boxes, a 2-person crew is £75 an hour (2-hour minimum, £150). Mileage is charged one way, collection to delivery.
