The crew arrives knowing the job, with blankets, straps and tools.
A man with a van is the simplest way to move a small home or a few large items. You hire a van and crew by the hour; they load, drive and unload, and you pay for the time used.
Choose the crew by what you are moving. A driver alone (£55/hr) suits light loads where you can help carry. Two people (£75/hr) suit flats with stairs and heavier furniture. For a fuller home, a Luton with three people (£130/hr) is usually quicker and cheaper overall.
To save time, pack and label boxes before the van arrives, take apart what you can and keep the route from door to van clear. You book whole hours. If the job runs over, extra time is charged in 30-minute steps.
£10,000 goods in transit cover on every booked move.
We take bookings and questions from 8am to 10pm, every day.
No deposit, and no weekend, evening or bank-holiday premium.
Cancel or change the date for free up to 24 hours before the start time.

A Small Transit with a driver is £55/hr with a 2-hour minimum (£110). With a 2-person crew it is £75/hr (£150 minimum), and a Luton with a 3-person crew is £130/hr with a 3-hour minimum (£390). Yes. For fuller homes or awkward access, send photos, your item list, both postcodes and the floor levels, and we will give you a set price. Lighter, well-prepared jobs usually work out cheaper by the hour. Either way, you see mileage and any stair charge before you book.
Yes. Stairs are £10 per person on the crew, per flight, for each hour at that address. A floor is two flights, the ground floor is free and a working lift removes the charge. If a sofa will not fit the stairwell, we can quote for a hoist.
Yes. Every booking includes £10,000 goods in transit cover, and furniture is wrapped in blankets and strapped in the van. Tell us about high-value or fragile items before the day so we can handle them properly.
Same-day and next-day jobs are possible when a van and crew are free. Small loads are easier to fit in at short notice than full house moves. Email us or use the booking form any day from 8am to 10pm, and we will tell you the earliest slot we can do.
Both postcodes, a few photos and the floor levels are enough to start.
