Delete your account

You can delete the account you made in the Giga Removals app at any time. It cannot be undone.

In the app

1. Open the Giga Removals app and sign in.
2. Go to Profile, then Privacy and security.
3. Tap Delete my account.
4. Enter your password and tap Delete my account again.

The account is deleted straight away and the app signs you out.

Without the app

Email info@gigaremovals.uk from the email address you signed up with, with the subject “Delete my account”, or call 07466 122050 (8am–10pm, seven days a week). We may ask you to confirm it is you before we delete anything. We delete the account and reply to confirm within one month.

What is deleted

• Your sign-in (email address and password).
• Your profile: name, phone number and profile photo.
• Your saved addresses and your notifications.
• The link between your account and your phone that is used to send you booking updates.

What we keep

Records of moves we have carried out for you, and their invoices, are kept for six years, as UK tax and accounting rules require. Booking requests that did not become jobs are deleted within twelve months. If you have a move booked, call us before you delete your account so we can cancel it or keep it for you.

Conversations with Giga in the app are kept only on your phone and are removed when the account is deleted. If you also used the chat on this website, open its settings and choose “Delete my data”.
